Car Show

Our annual car show held over beautiful downtown Versailles. Last Saturday of June. 50+ trophies are handed out, along with 'tons' of door prizes!
This is held in connection with the Lions Club chicken BBQ, and the Chamber of Commerce 5K run. 

 

Pumpkin Show Parade

The uniform of the day is full Dress, (kahki pants, white shirt, black shoes). Those who want to ride, we have a wagon. Those who want to march are welcome. All Veterans are ask to join us. Active duty personel included.

 

Flag Retirement Ceremony

 We have a ceremonally retiring old & worn out flags in accordance with the current flag code. All are welcome to attend and give the utmost last honor for our nations Standard. This ceremony is held as needed.
 

Veterans Day 
We have a major part in the history of Veterens Day @ South Ripley Elementary and High School. Sandy Becker has made this an informative and meaningful morning for all the students and teachers alike!

The Color Guard, and members participate in a breakfast cooked by the home-edc. dep't.  

We meet at the Post at 8:00, breakfast 8:15 at the high school. 9:00 Veterans' day program at SRHS. 10:00 at the elementary school. All veterans are invited to attend.

10:45 service at the Veterans Memorial on the square. Everyone is invited to attend this very special event.

0945 March to Cliff Hill Cemetery.

1000 Services at Cliff Hill Cemetery with guest speaker.

1045 at the Veterans' Monument, on the square, a special
tribute in honor of all Veterans with guest speaker at the monument.

Memorial Day picnic 1300 at the Legion Park. Fried chicken & drinks are provided.
Bring a covered dish.
